- Account information: name, email, hashed password
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps
- Device data: browser type, operating system, IP address

2. How We Use It
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the ForGrit service
- Process transactions and send related information
- Send technical notices, updates, and security alerts
- Respond to your comments, questions, and support requests
- Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve user experience
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
3. Your Code
This section is critical for enterprise trust. ForGrit processes your code through a deterministic pipeline to generate output. Here is exactly what happens:
- Processing: Your prompts and project descriptions are sent to our pipeline for code generation. Generated output is stored in your account.
- Storage: Generated projects are stored securely and associated with your account. You can delete them at any time.
- No model training: Your code, prompts, and project data are never used to train AI models. Your intellectual property remains yours.
- Access: Only you can access your projects. Our engineering team may access anonymized, aggregated data for service improvement, but never your individual code.
- Ownership: All generated code belongs to you. No lock-in, no proprietary runtime requirements.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and generated projects within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
- Active accounts: data retained while account is active
- Deleted accounts: data purged within 30 days
- Transaction records: retained for 7 years for legal/tax compliance
- Server logs: automatically purged after 90 days

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and maintain your session. We also use analytics cookies to understand how our service is used. See our Cookie Policy for full details.
- Essential cookies: required for authentication and core functionality

6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We select partners who meet our security and privacy standards.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, and role-based access controls. See our Security page for detailed information.
